What will be covered
At the International Broadcast Centre at COP15 the technical infrastructure and broadcast operations will be managed by the Host Broadcaster. In order to accommodate international electronic media at the venue, the host broadcaster will provide a variety of services including uninterrupted high-quality video and audio coverage from the following locations:
• The two Plenary Rooms with complete coverage of the meetings for live television and radio broadcast. Plenary 1 (Tycho Brahe) will be covered by 7 cameras and Plenary 2 (Karen Blixen) will be covered by 6 cameras throughout sessions.
• The two official press conference rooms with permanent camera coverage of the podium and the appointed spots for journalists asking questions will be covered by 4 and 3 cameras respectively.
• The stand-up positions will be equipped and cabled with connection to the MCR for uplink. More information: se menu on left hand.
• Additional events will be covered by 3 ENG teams.
The host broadcaster will provide live signals from the plenary rooms and the press rooms to IBC/MCR for further distribution to the following destinations:
• Workspaces within IBC
• SNG Compound
• International and national distribution on request
• COP15 Webcaster at IBC
All material will be recorded, stored and made available at IBC/MCR.
